An Italian cooking green and Japanese Sushi ingredient

Storage
Once cooked however, it has a nice bite and quite a delicate flavour, reminiscent of spinach. Much like most leafy greens, Monk's Beard or Agretti is a very delicate vegetable that should be consumed fresh, or refrigerated for no more than a few days
Cooking Tips
The easiest way to prepare agretti or monk's beard is to steam it, boil it or blanche it. My preferred method is blanching.
